Our Winter route (november 1st - April 15th) is 1 Hour long. Our other tours last approximately 1 Hour 30 minutes.

Yes the tour is suitable for children, however anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Of course! We love dogs, the more the merrier as long as they are well behaved and kept on a lead at all times.

There are a few car parks that are free/cheap after 6pm. St Marys car park is at the start of the tour, so you would have to walk back up to your car after the tour. Or you could park at the seafront (where we end the tour) so you don't have to walk back up.

We try to keep our route as accessible as possible for everyone. However, Scarborough is a historic town with cobbled streets and is uneven in some places. We avoid using steps during the tour, but there is a steep hill we walk down. Therefore we encourage wheelchair users to bring along an assistant (no need to book an additional ticket). The tour is outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather and something comfortable. sensible shoes for walking are recommended.

Yes, you can take photos, we love to see if you capture anything unusual! However if you take any video, please try and keep our stories secret so it doesn't ruin the tour for anyone else.

We can’t make any promises, but we will tell you the stories, and point you in the right direction. Always expect the unexpected.

We offer a printed copy of the stories for those guests who are hard of hearing, to be returned at the end of the tour.

We can offer a printed copy of the stories told in other languages, but this is not carried with the guide on a regular basis. If this is something you require in order to enjoy the tour, please message us on our Facebook or email at least 3 days before your booking.
